Glucose Manager – Frequently Asked Questions

What is Glucose Manager?
Glucose Manager is a daily dietary supplement developed by Dr. Ford Brewer to support healthy blood sugar metabolism and insulin sensitivity. It combines clinically studied ingredients that act at multiple points in the metabolic pathway to help stabilize energy and protect long-term cardiovascular and metabolic health.

Key ingredients include:

  • Reducose® (Mulberry Leaf Extract): This addition slows carbohydrate digestion and blunts post-meal glucose spikes.

  • Berberine: This natural ingredient activates AMPK, improving insulin sensitivity and lowering fasting glucose.

  • Fenugreek & Ceylon Cinnamon: Both of these delay glucose absorption and improve insulin signaling.

  • L-Carnitine & Alpha-Lipoic Acid (ALA): These support mitochondrial energy production and reduce oxidative stress.

  • Chromium & Vanadium: This pairing helps insulin move glucose into cells more efficiently.
How does it work?
Each ingredient in Glucose Manager targets a specific aspect of glucose regulation. For example, Berberine improves insulin sensitivity and reduces liver glucose output. Reducose®, or mulberry leaf extract, inhibits enzymes that break down carbs, reducing overall glucose absorption, and chromium enhances insulin receptor sensitivity and efficiency of glucose transport. Glucose Manager also has other supportive natural ingredients, such as Ceylon cinnamon, fenugreek, and alpha-lipoic acid, or ALA.

Together, these compounds help reduce post-meal spikes, calm metabolic inflammation, and improve overall energy stability.
Who can benefit from Glucose Manager?
Glucose Manager is intended for adults who wish to support healthy metabolic function. For example: People with prediabetes, insulin resistance, or type 2 diabetes might find support from the regular addition of Glucose Manager to their routine. Those who feel fatigued or crave sugar after meals—or who are living with metabolic syndrome or abdominal weight gain—can also benefit.

Glucose Manager is best used as part of a comprehensive lifestyle program including diet, exercise, sleep, and stress management.
How do I take Glucose Manager?
We recommend that you take two (2) capsules daily with food—one in the morning and one in the evening, or as directed by your healthcare provider. Each bottle comes with 60 capsules. If you take it at the recommended dosage, you will have a 30-day supply. Please note that most see the best results taking Glucose Manager at its recommended dose for 4-8 weeks.
When will I notice the results from Glucose Manager?
Most people notice results in both the short-term and the long-term. The most common short-term results (seen in 1–2 weeks) include: steadier energy, fewer sugar cravings, and less post-meal fatigue. Long- to medium-term results (seen in 8–12 weeks) include: measurable improvements in fasting glucose, A1c, or insulin levels when combined with healthy habits.
Is Glucose Manager safe for long-term use?
Yes. All ingredients in Glucose Manager are plant-based, well-researched, and used at physiologic, not pharmacologic, doses. Additionally, Glucose Manager uses Ceylon (“true”) cinnamon, which contains minimal coumarin—unlike common cassia cinnamon that can strain the liver when consumed in excess—making it safer for extended use.
Does it contain gluten, soy, or dairy?
No. Glucose Manager is free from gluten, soy, dairy, and GMOs.
Are there any side effects or precautions
Glucose Manager is generally well tolerated. Occasional, usually mild effects may include:

  • Digestive upset (such as bloating, nausea, or loose stool).

  • Temporary fatigue or lightheadedness if blood sugar drops slightly.

If these occur, we recommend taking the supplement with a larger meal or reducing to 1 capsule daily for a week before returning to the full dose.

Use Glucose Manager with caution or medical supervision if you:

  • Are pregnant or nursing.

  • Take prescription diabetes medications or insulin (may enhance glucose-lowering effects).

  • Use thyroid, blood-pressure, or anticoagulant drugs.

  • Have liver disease, heavy alcohol use, or a history of hypoglycemia.

Always consult your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement, especially if you are under medical care or taking prescription medications.
Can I take Glucose Manager with metformin or other medications?
Yes, but monitoring is essential. Berberine and Reducose® can enhance the effects of metformin or insulin, which may increase the risk of low blood sugar.

If you use glucose-lowering medication, track your readings regularly and work with your clinician to adjust doses if needed.
Can Glucose Manager replace my medication?
No. Glucose Manager is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease, nor to replace prescribed therapy. It serves as a supportive tool in a broader prevention and lifestyle program directed by your healthcare provider.
How should I store Glucose Manager?
Glucose Manager should be stored at room temperature (below 25 °C / 77 °F) in a dry place.
It’s important to keep the bottle tightly closed to protect the stability of alpha-lipoic acid and berberine. Additionally, we also recommend that you keep Glucose Manager out of reach of children.
Why does Glucose Manager use Ceylon cinnamon?
Most store-bought cinnamon (cassia) contains coumarin, a compound that can stress the liver when consumed in large amounts. Ceylon cinnamon—also known as “true cinnamon”—contains negligible coumarin but provides the same beneficial polyphenols that support blood-sugar control. This makes Ceylon cinnamon a safer and more sustainable choice for long-term metabolic support.
